Biography

Originally from Michigan, Jill attended Michigan State University where she first became interested in the legal profession. Shortly after earning her degree, she relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. During her time in Arizona, she started out as paralegal and then attended Arizona Summit Law School, which she completed in two years, graduating with honors.

Jill Pope brings both practical experience working as a paralegal for crane rental company and a strong litigation background as part of a civil litigation firm. Upon relocating to New York, Jill joined the Rogers, Habas & Eisen team, where she will apply her past experiences to further client goals in way to yield practical solutions to real world problems.

In addition to her professional experience, Jill has an interest in animal and environmental law. During law school, she was the president of her school's chapter of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. She was also a law clerk at The Humane Society of the United States in Washington, D.C. assisting with litigation and development on legislative policies to help protect people, animals and the environment.
